What's that red squishy stuff in the bowl?

Oh, Addisaba. This place was funny. My clearest memory from that night was, "What?" and the look on all of our faces as the waiter tried to understand us, and vice versa. It took a little while to get it across that we wanted beer, and then longer for us to understand the names of the different beers (if I've ever wanted a Miller Lite!...), and then even longer for us to repeat which beer we might want.
Then, the raw beef. Yuck! Who recommended this stuff? It's scary, really scary. My boyfriend kind of liked it, I think. I guess dudes like their raw beef sometimes. Lots of 'em, because the place was blaring with a weird kind of techno music and everyone around was a guy. Except for the one other white woman who came in by herself. Because we couldn't understand our waiter, because the music was so Twin Peaks-ish, because the raw beef (which I've had in Korea differently done, and can be amazing) was just beef cut up and piled in a big bowl, I felt like we weren't supposed to be there. Cosmically speaking.
Pros: The prices were good. It's probably a decent place if you're familar with the food.
Cons: Where were we again? A dark and hidden strip mall outside the loop?

We really enjoyed our food at this restaurant. Had Ethiopian food a few times and this was just as good as the other places. We had the meat sampler and the veggie sampler. The injera bread was delicious! The restuarant looks like a hole-in-the wall place. Not much happening there. It was also a little hard to find. Sometimes they have coupons in one of the free newspapers. It's worth a try.
Pros: great prices, delicious food
Cons: location
